  • Open-Rank Research Scientist in Ultrafast Laser Science at Arizona State University in conjunction with the Compact X-ray Free-Electron Laser (CXFEL) Labs.

CXFEL Labs develops novel ultrashort X-ray light sources in the hard and soft X-ray regimes based on the combination of compact electron accelerators and next-generation high-intensity laser systems. These sources will form a user facility serving a broad research community in conducting advanced time-resolved and structural studies of biomolecular systems, AMO, and quantum materials and other areas.

Please direct suitable candidates to this opportunity at: https://apply.interfolio.com/113008

Application review is ongoing and occurs every two weeks, with applications received by October 31, 2022 being considered timely (and continuing after this date until the search is closed).

In parallel, ASU is also seeking a postdoctoral scholar in ultrafast science, interested candidates should contact Robert Kaindl (kaindl@asu.edu) directly.
