X-lites Science & Technology Working Group Meeting

The working group leadership have set a goal of hosting two incubator meetings, on topics of interest to multiple X-lites networks, over the next two years. We will discuss this goal and gather input on initial incubator topics for further consideration. We would love your participation!

Draft Agenda
- Review of incubator goals and ideas from July meeting
- Discussion of grouping and prioritization, opportunity to provide additional suggestions
- Refinement of prioritized topic to support first incubator
- Formation of incubator organizing committee, group responsible to organize first event

You are welcome to extend this invitation to additional colleagues to join this working group.
The Science & Technology working group exists to (1) advance shared, impactful technologies and (2) enable multi-facility scientific collaborations. The X-lites networks and facilities have experience, facilities, and equipment that enables us to propose and perform cutting edge experiments. This working group is looking ahead to a next generation of scientific challenges and technological opportunities.
To seed collaborations and future research proposals, this working group is aiming to collaboratively and identify these opportunities. We will then organize leading researchers in an incubator meeting to advance from concepts to proposals. We plan to model these incubators on Optica (OSA) incubator meetings.
Please bring your ideas for ambitious science and technology that X-lites researchers are posed to tackle.
What is the X-lites Network?
The Extreme Light in Intensity, Time, and Space (X-lites) network promotes collaboration around the world to make use of new extreme light facilities.
The network is bringing together facility users and facility operators to support high-impact science and engineering using extreme light.
