The Institute for Optical Science co-sponsors STEAM Factory Postdoc Presentation

SEPT 21 2023 - This STEAM Exchange exclusively featured over 15 Postdoc presenters who gave 1-minute talks about their research! The Institute for Optical Science helped sponsor this unique event.

These monthly salon style seminars provide an excellent opportunity to meet scholars from across the university for a lively, engaging, informative, disciplinarily diverse, and well-catered evening! These events are a fun way to learn from other academics, share research interests, engage in a broad array of lively conversations, connect with new (and existing) colleagues, and discover new possibilities, ideas, and collaborators.

Jessi Middleton explains the relationship between the Institute for Optical Science and STEAM Factory: "The Institute for Optical Science strives to promote a community of multidisciplinary researchers. The STEAM Exchange shares the same goal of bringing people together from different disciplines for networking and collaboration." She is both a STEAM Factory Member and the Admin for The Institute for Optical Science.
