On Dec. 5, 2024, IOS and the STEAM Factory hosted the 3rd PostDoc Exchange, centered around the fascinating topic of TIME.

The event featured 13 presentations from a diverse group of PostDocs, late-stage doctoral trainees, and early-stage faculty. Each presenter offered unique perspectives on time, highlighting the wide range of research happening across the university. With 32 attendees, the event built upon the success of the previous PostDoc STEAM Exchange held in September, further demonstrating the vibrant and interdisciplinary nature of the research community.

Held in a salon-style format, the seminar provided an excellent opportunity for researchers to share insights, network, and engage in collaborative discussions in a welcoming and dynamic environment. Feedback from attendees showed appreciation for both the content and the environment.

One attendee shared, "The event was engaging and allowed me to establish new connections. Creating a relaxed atmosphere is highly effective for enhancing the pitch." Another noted, "It was my first time attending and presenting at the postdoctoral steam exchange event. I loved the atmosphere and found the setting to be very useful to practice presentation skills to a broader audience and be able to receive immediate feedback from my colleagues."
