iOS Member Research Series: A Spotlight on Prof. Jinghua Li

Jinghua Talk

Exciting Research at the Institute for Optical Science!

iOS kicked off its new series of member-led research talks with an engaging presentation by Prof. Jinghua Li, Assistant Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Ohio State University.

Her talk, "Multi-Utility Interfaces for Sensing and Actuation in Biological Systems Enabled by Optoelectronic Effects," introduced the "optoelectronic micro-gadget" (OMG), an innovative system for localized sensing and actuation in biosensing and neuroscience applications. Attendees gained insights into how flexible photoelectrodes and cross-disciplinary approaches are driving breakthroughs in optoelectronics.

We’re thrilled to have had such an engaged audience for this fascinating talk!

Save the Date for Our Next Talk!

We’re thrilled to continue the series with a presentation by Prof. Rengasayee (Sai) Veeraraghavan from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at OSU.
