Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Her research focuses on two-dimensional materials. "Due to the reduced dimensionality and atomically clean interfaces, the optical and optoelectronic responses of 2D materials are often strong and significantly altered from those in bulk crystals. On the other hand, optical techniques have been shown to induce novel states in 2D materials, such as Bloch-Floquet states, light-induced magnetism and light-induced superconductivity. Thus optics offer powerful tools for exploring, understanding, and exploiting the fundamental properties of 2D materials."
