The 21st International Symposium on Ultrafast Intense Laser Science (ISUILS2024) took place from September 29 to October 4 in Seogwipo, Jeju, Korea.

The symposium featured scientific sessions on various topics in ultrafast intense laser science, including invited talks and discussions. There were also poster sessions where presenters showcased their work, along with sponsor presentations.

A special session honored the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics, focusing on attosecond science. Professors Agostini and DiMauro were invited to speak and their talk was called "Attosecond Clocking and Control of Strong Field Quantum Trajectories."

Before ISUILS2024, Professor Agostini gave a special lecture on September 26th at the University of Tokyo. This event was organized by the Institute for Attosecond Laser Science and co-organized by the Advanced Laser Innovation Center and Q-LEAP. It celebrated the Nobel Prize in Physics.
