Welcoming New Members to the IOS Executive Committee

We’re excited to welcome Mike Chini, Jinghua Li, and Rengasayee (Sai) Veeraraghavan as the newest members of the IOS Executive Committee! They join current committee members Steven Olmschenk, Ronald Reano, and Chris Hammel, forming a group that reflects the wide range of research and perspectives across the optical science community at Ohio State.
The Executive Committee plays an important role in shaping the direction of IOS. Members meet twice a year to review our overall strategy, evaluate proposals for IOS internal grants, and provide input on new membership applications. They also help assess applications for the Agostini/DiMauro Visiting Scholar Funds and may provide feedback to the Director on IOS progress and goals.
We’re looking forward to the ideas and energy Mike, Jinghua, and Sai will bring to the group as IOS continues to grow and evolve!
